Arcanist (Class)

Arcanist is one of seven playable classes in The Elder Scrolls Online. It was launched as part of the The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom Chapter on June 5, 2023 for PC and Mac, and June 20, 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5.

"Channel the eldritch powers of Apocrypha as an Arcanist. These spellcasters channel secret runes and abyssal spells to destroy their enemies, heal their allies, and defend against any foes."

Skill lines[]

Like other classes, the Arcanist has 3 unique skill lines; Soldier of Apocrypha, Herald of the Tome, and Curative Runeforms.

Soldier of Apocrypha[]

Aegis of the Unseen – "Form a secret soldier within your mind, a defense against arcane forces without. While a beneficial Soldier of Apocrypha ability is active on you, increase your Armor by 990."
Wellspring of the Abyss – "Apocryphal knowledge bubbles up from the depths of your psyche, increasing your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by 64 for each Soldier of Apocrypha ability slotted. Current bonus: 0."

Herald of the Tome[]

Psychic Lesion – "Your attacks wound the mind with heretical knowledge, increasing damage dealt by Status Effects by 7% and Status Effect Chance by 27%. (With a Herald of the Tome Ability Slotted)"
Splintered Secrets – "What they don't know can kill them. Increase your Physical and Spell Penetration by 495 per Herald of the Tome ability slotted. Current bonus: 0."
Spattering Disjunction (enchantment) – "Dealing damage with an Arcanist ability applies two random status effects to your target. This effect can occur once every 7 seconds. Dealing damage with a Herald of the Tome ability reduces this cooldown by 0.5 seconds, up to once every 1 second."

Curative Runeforms[]

Intricate Runeforms – "Your status as illuminatus reduces the cost and increases the strength of your damage shields by 5%. (With a Curative Runeforms Ability Slotted)"
